Tournament Resources

 

TentCraft is the supplier for our competition field, and testing & classroom field. They also supply custom netting with excellent fit and finish. To reduce costs, netting can be purchased from Gourock, see: https://www.gourock.com/drone-netting-uav-nets.html. Use Gourock’s Netting Calculator on the above website and enter the following parameters for a competition field:

  • Height: 13ft – 4in, Width: 16ft – 8in, and select Calculate;
  • Select #30 x 4ʺ Netting, enter Net Quantity 4 for a half field or 8 for a full field, and Select Net Options and Checkout;
  • Select Square Mesh, Add Rope Boarder (Black), and Add to Cart.

For the testing & classroom field (10 x 10 x 6-8) enter the following parameters:

  • Height: 7ft – 4in, Width: 10ft – 0in, and select Calculate;
  • Select #30 x 4ʺ Netting, enter Net Quantity 4, and Select Net Options and Checkout;
  • Select Square Mesh, Add Rope Boarder (Black), and Add to Cart.

The above netting is hung from the tent structure using ¼ inch nylon rope and secured on the sides using zip ties.
